May 1st already? Happy National Scrapbook Day!!!
I have not gotten much scrapbooking done all year. I have completed less than 5 pages. I did work on several card designs for clients and I am wrapping up some adorable tea party invites.
My spring classes end on Monday - yeah! I am looking forward to summer, although I am taking 3 classes. I won't be working and going to grad school at the same time...
I can't wait to work on more of my scrapbook room and the house in general.

I located a cute template and created these adorable tea party invitations for a friend's daughter 6th b'day party. I used the pink paisley pp as shown in the thank you card below.

Oh where does time go when you're enjoying life? We've been really busy with the new house and juggling the many things we've involved with. My hubby is super involved with work and of course coaching. The phone never stops ringing, the articles in the paper are never ending, and the team is doing awesome!!! >>> Tarpons GATA!!!
I've been subbing as much as I can. There might even be a long term position in a few weeks until the end of the year. I still believe things will work out when it's meant to be, until then I have no control over the situation, and will continue to give it my all each time I sub :) Grad school can be challenging at times. My research course is intense. I love the diverse children's lit course I'm taking. I've learned so much about the selection of good books to include in my class library.
I have not scrapped, but I have created a lot of cards and even some invitations for clients. I'll take some pictures and share soon. This summer I hope to get back into scrapbooking. I have a lot of catching up to do.

Happy New Year 2010! Winter break was much needed! :) Well so much has changed for us since I last posted. We closed on the house, moved into the house, and have been really busy making the house a home :) We also managed to have a housewarming party.
The sad thing is that I have not scrapped at all. I did make a few cards and invitations. My scrap room is a work in progress. I hope to focus on it now since the rest of the house is looking good.
Next week I will begin my second semester of grad school - how exciting. Life's going to get busy all over again.

Well the life of Scrapping has been put on hold for now and the reason why is a big one - DH and I bought a house. We are in the process of moving! We are both very excited and can't wait to begin this chapter in our lives. As you can imagine we have a lot to think about and plan for. I'm excited to create a new scrap room :) Here are a few pages from a FL vacation album that I created for a client.

Life's changing... I started grad school this week and it's no easy task. I really want to focus and give it my all. There will be lots of reading involved...

I probably won't get to scrap as much now that summer is over and I'm back into the swing of things.

Mocha's first trip to the beach. We took her to a dog beach in Venice, FL. We were really nervous. She's great in the pool, but did not like the beach that much. I don't blame her. It was still fun!

I went to Michaels on Sunday because they had an extra 25% off including sale items. The designers corner was 75% off plus I used the coupon and scored!!! I bought some Prima flowers, chipboard alphas, bling, K and CO eco tote, embellies, and some MM items too.

Here is my birthday project that I would love to share with you.
I found this adorable template at scrapbook.com :)
I simply printed it, traced it, and cut it apart. I used BG paper, and rubons, K and Co cherry, Cat's eye ink, foam pop dots, AC rubons, bling from Michaels, and Jolee's a cupcake.

I had an awesome time at the crop. It was so much more than I imagined. There were so many people there. When I arrived there were a bunch of goodies waiting at my spot, very exciting, and new CHA items. Dinner was from the Olive Garden, although my DH picked up Bahama Breeze and brought me a chocolate island cake to share with him. He went shopping around town, and took care of work related designs, etc while I cropped the night away. In all I created 8 pages, not bad considering I didn't bring that much with me. Throughout the night Dee would give away random goodies that her sponsor's sent for the crop. It was really cool!

I'm off to my first official crop. I've gone to crops before (like twice) and I was not productive at all. I couldn't decided what I wanted to scrap and felt like I didn't have enough supplies with me. Well I am super excited about this crop because I spent time yesterday organizing papers, pics, and everything I would need to be productive! It's looking really good. The crop includes dinner, and a goodie bag with $40 worth of new CHA goodies... See you at Dee's.

I can't believe that August is here and my hubby went back to work today. Summer is over for us. It was a GREAT one and we have a lot of memories.

I haven't scrapped in a while, I squeezed out 2 quick pages this morning. of Mocha. I have so many beautiful photos to print and so many ideas of pages I want to create. I think I'm going to try and get organized and head to a crop in a few weeks.

We had an incredible time in Northern GA. It was a lot of fun, peaceful, and beautiful. Coming home to FL, the weather is so HOT and HUMID - yuck.

Here are some photos from our trip. Ellijay is gorgeous, the wilderness is amazing. We visited Amicalola Falls, a challenging climb to the bridge, but worth it. We also visited a nearby town called Dahlonega. White water rafting in TN was so much fun! I can't wait to print and start scrapping them.

I have reached 60 lo's so far this year, only 15 more to go until I reach my goal.

I did this page for the monthly sketch on Paper Popsicles. I loved the simplicity of the sketch :) My lo is for our 4th anniversary. We spent time in Orlando doing all things Disney. We went to the Animal Kingdom, ate at the Rainforest Cafe, visited Downtown Disney, ate at Planet Hollywood, played mini golf at Disney's summerland course, and much more.

Yesterday we took Mocha to the dog beach in Venice. She had a lot of fun and got extremely tired! I can't wait to scrap those pictures.

I have so much going on in July. We leave in less than 10 days to GA. We'll be there for 2 weeks. I'm excited but there's a huge to-do list to accomplish before that. When we get back, I've got to focus on grad school, etc.

I can't believe it's already July. The summer is going by way too fast! ** Happy 4th of July ** We plan on having a BBQ and having out at the pool today. There is a lot that we should celebrate and be thankful for our freedom!

Life's been busy as usual. I haven't scrapped much. I was studying for a certification exam - I took it & passed - YEAH!

I found out some sad news on Friday - one of my favorite sites (Scrap 4 Life) is now closed. I made a lot of good friends and had a blast on that site. It's really sad to see it come to an end. I also wish I would have gotten to use the $25 I just won for the Cyber crop back in June...

Where does time go when you are having fun ?

My DH and I went to Orlando for a few days to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary! We had a blast at the Animal Kingdom, and really enjoyed spending time together.

My list of things to do keeps on growing... and the summer is going by way too fast. I can't believe that next week is already July.

I created this page (#41 so far this year) in memory of my bunny, Cadbury. He passed away on 5/28 :( He truly was an amazingly smart and witty rabbit. The journaling reads "Your personality and love was incredible. You were our first son and the best bunny we've ever had. You've been through a lot over the year, you were such a fighter. We'll miss you".

This is probably the best deal I have ever found at Big Lots. I LOVE thickers! They were $2 a pack, who can pass up a deal like that.

I found felt, vinyl, puffy, chipboard, and shimmery accents.

I'm so excited that I finally got some mojo and created 2 lo's. That makes a total of 40 for this year so far. I only have 35 more to go until I meet my goal :) I also printed some pictures recently and DH ordered the tray for my sony photo printer since I somehow managed to lose the one it came with.

The past two weeks have been crazy! There's been a lot going on... My dear Cadbury passed away last Thursday. He would have been 8 in July. He was the BEST bunny ever! Thankfully he did not suffer. He is definitely going to be missed!

This week I noticed that Mocha was not her perky self and wasn't eating as she normally would. I looked in her mouth and noticed one of her molars did not look right. I touched it and it moved, so this Friday she is having it pulled :( Not my baby. I hope she will be ok!

School ends this week and summer begins! Looking forward to having some nice, relaxing moments with my DH and Mocha too.

A much needed break from the craziness of everyday life.

On Friday I turned in one of my BIG assignments, my summary essay! I'm so happy that I'm finished with it. In the coming weeks, I just need to wrap up my Action Research Project.

I enjoyed spending the day on Sunday with my hubby at Venice Beach. We did some shopping, sightseeing, and ate @ Sharky's. He's on Spring Break too, so we're really liking that!

Today I spent all day doing some much needed spring cleaning and well I actually got some scrapping done too! I still have loads of cleaning left to do, but I really needed a break.

10 days until my birthday - YIKES. Looking back, I can't believe how many years have gone by already. Where does time go? This number scares me, i'll be honest. I never imagined that at this point in my life I would be where I am right now. I'm just thankful to have a loving husband by my side every day and night to share the ups and downs of life's journey. I have a lot to be proud of and even more to look forward to :)

12 days until I leave for Chicago !!!
I'm hoping for nice weather (nothing freezing or yucky). I need to start packing.

No scrapping for me. Life's been way too busy to even breathe. Lessons, planning, preparing, and projects.

A very exciting month

March will be such a busy and exciting month for me. I can't believe that my birthday is in 15 days. I also am more shocked that in 17 days I will be flying to Chicago. Just the other day I had 3 months to go. This semester has gone by very fast already. I honestly don't have a lot of time to scrap b/c I am devoted to lesson planning and being the best that I can be each and every day that I am in the classroom. I have been in full take over for 2 weeks, this will be my third. I LOVE what I am doing and look forward to challenges and fun that each day brings.

I only managed to create 1 page since my last posting.

WOW it's been a month

Where have I been? Life has been really busy. I have squeezed in some scrapping but not a lot. I just have not had a chance to update my blog. My internship is awesome. I love what I am doing. Planning takes up a lot of my time. Every aspect needs to be thought about. I am not in full take over mode and it's been amazing.

Besides that, Chicago is 1 month away. Just the other day I was thinking I have 3 months before this trip. Where does time go when you are having a great time? This has been a very exciting time for me and I really hope this year will work out to be one of the best despite the economy.

WOW this week has been so COLD in FL... where has Jan gone? This month is flying by. My internship is going well, I am really enjoying it. I have learned so much already and have a long way to go. I am looking forward to this experience.

This week, I was informed that our submission for the Hall of Excellence has been accepted. That means we will have an additional presentation in Chicago.
Speaking of Chicago. I need to start looking for some boots, a coat, hat, gloves, etc... and I'm hoping that it will warm up a lot by March.

Happy New Year's EVE

DH and I went out to breakfast at Cracker Barrel, it was delicious!!! Then we ran a few errands and picked up food to make for dinner :) DH washed and waxed my car, she looks like NEW! I'm so thankful that he spent time on my car. I really should be much better about it...
I can't believe that **2009** will soon be here. I have a bunch of goals in mind and I really hope this is going to be the year of all years for us. We have a lot to look forward to and hope that things will work out as we imagine :)

I also can't believe that I only have 4 days left of vacation and them it's back to reality. I will begin my final internship on Monday, January 5th. I am super excited and a little nervous at the same time.

Happy Christmas Eve

I can't believe that tomorrow is the 25th already - this month has gone by really fast. This year Christmas will be a small celebration for us. I have not worked all year and I'm just thankful to have my husband and our health. I'm looking forward to cooking/baking and spending time together. I already got my new cell phone 10 days ago and that's really all I wanted for Christmas. My skin came in yesterday and I LOVE my new phone. I also picked out a theme online and some ringtones. :)

I spent part of the day wrapping a few gifts. Mocha is too smart, she knows which ones are hers.

I also managed to get some scrapping done during this busy time of the year. I'm excited to have found some time to scrap again. I miss it and enjoyed scrapping!

I am enjoying a nice break from being extremely busy. I created some Christmas cards that I will be sending to our family and friends.

Besides cards, I really need to start creating LO's if I want to reach my goal of 100 by the end of the year.

*** I have a goal that might be impossible to stick with, but I VOW to stop buying scrapping products in the new year. I really need to use what I have! If I make a purchase, it can't be more than $10 a month. CAN you believe I am actually saying this. My husband laughed at me when I mentioned this to him. I know I can do it, I have to stop... I'd rather spend the $ on a gym membership and in Jan I plan on joining the gym to tone and shape up.

I can't believe it's been such a long time since I posted. Life has been extremely busy for me. My internship ended during the end of November and that was a sad day. I cried and so did some of the kids. They were so sweet :) They made me a banner that said "We love you Mrs. George!" and I received a tote bag from Snap Fish with their class photo. I'm really going to miss those kids. My fall semester of classes has come to an end :) This was a semester of tremendous growth and experience.

GREAT news > My group and I submitted a proposal to ACEI for the conference in Chicago & guess what we're going to Chicago b/c the proposal was approved!!!! I already booked my plane ticket and am super excited about meeting new people and sharing our project with others.

I'm looking forward to relaxing over Winter Break and preparing for my final internship. Graduation will be in May :)

I can't beleive I am sick again. The story of my life :( That's 3 times in 8 weeks. This is my last week of interning, I hope I can start to feel better by Tuesday. I want to end on a good note instead of feeling under the weather. I am really sad about my internship coming to an end. I wish it could last forever. I love working with this group of students.

Life has been busier than ever! This semester has been tough. I have 2 weeks left of interning. In a way I am happy, but honestly I am really sad because I LOVE working with the kids. I wish I could stay with them until Winter Break. I have been thinking of something nice that I can give them as a thank you/departure gift. I have a few ideas and can't wait to start.

Today, I went to a Special Education conference in Sarasota :) It was nice and I learned a lot of helpful ideas and tips for working with students with disabilities. The weather is not so great, perfect for scrapping. However, I have a ton of work to catch up on.

I can't belive that I am sick again with the cold for the second time this month. I use to never get sick and now that I've been in an elementary school setting, I catch things really easy. Yesterday I went to the doctor and I received some medicine. I hope to kick this by the end of the week.

My first week of classes and interning was very interesting. I have already learned so much and have a lot more to learn during this process. By the end of the week I was officially exhausted! As long as I plan and stay organized I should be able to meet all of the demands.

I did scrap a little today, but it was not for myself. I created a beautiful frame with a layout and matching thank you card for the B family who so graciously opened up their home to us during our trip to Georgia.

The rest of this nice weekend has been and will be spent on homework, planning, reading, etc.

Well today was my first day back to classes and it's going to be a crazy semester. I'm officially interning 3 days a week plus courses too. I will be doing a lot of commuting this semester, but I'm looking forward to a wonderful experience that will help me grow as a professional and future teacher :)

My hubby spent hours working on this amazing photo in Photoshop :) LOVE how it turned out! There is no way I would have the patience to manipulate all of the layers, merging, etc. Lots of time needed and I am not that great with Photoshop.

This is a sample that his creative photo class will be viewing as they learn and attempt to make a project of their own using Photoshop.

We are finally back from Georgia. The trip was incredible and exceeded my expectations. We stayed in a small town called Ellijay, GA. It is located in Northern Georgia and is part of the Chattahoochee National Forest.
It was my first trip to the mountains and I LOVED it more than I ever imagined I would. The sceenery was unbelivable, we even went white water rafting at the Ocoee River (site of the 1996 Olympic Whitewater Competition) which is located in TN. What an adventure! The best part was that Mocha was able to come along on the trip to GA with us :)

I can't wait to scrap this trip as well as finish scrapping Marco Island.

I can't believe I actually made time to scrap again. My friend and I went to a LSS and actually spent more time shopping than scrapping, but it was a lot of fun. I found my {mojo} again and I am excited to keep scrapping... Here are some of the pages I created.

Back from Marco Island

DH and I had an amazing time at Marco Island. This was a much needed vacation for both of us. We had such a wonderful, relaxing, and joyous time. I have included some pictures from our vacation. Marco Island is incredibly beautiful! The resort was breathtaking and the best part was that it was located on the beach. We also toured the island and even visited a local pet shop ad picked up some goodies for Princess Mocha. Can't wait to scrap some of these next week at the crop with my friend M :)

Summer Classes are OVER!!!

I can't believe that I am done with my summer classes, it has been a rough semester. I have the next 5 weeks to enjoy the summer, scrap, relax, go on mini vacations, organize, and get ready for the fall semester.

I can't wait to start scrapping again. My wonderful friend M and I will be going to an all day crop on 7/29, I'm really looking forward to that!

I can't believe that I did not get a chance to scrap at all in June.
It was an extremely busy month because I had a lot of assignments... I am in the process of wrapping up my summer semester of classes and will officially be done next week- YEAHHHHHH !!!

My amazing husband and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary in June, it was FAB! He's such a sweetie!

I look foward to having at least 5 weeks off & SCRAPPIN before the fall semester begins!

It feels like 2008 just started and now we're half way through the year. June is a very exciting month for me, it's our anniversary (3rd to be exact) :)

OMG this month has flown by so fast. June will be 3 years since we got married. We recently watched 27 dresses, and it brought back so many memories. I am not sure what we are going to do for our anniversary, I will still have classes. The gas prices are outrageous!!! Right now it is $3.91 a gallon. Everything is going up in prices, even the groceries. We need to start watching how and what we spend $ on...

I have been really busy with school and have not had a chance to scrap. The summer semster is very fast pace. I am looking foward to having a month off before fall starts. I did however squeeze in a few minutes and created this.

I am really looking forward to NSBD, which is this Saturday (May 3rd). A lot of online scrap sites that I belong to are having festivities starting tomorrow and continuing through Sunday. One of them is Scrap 4 Life. I hope to get a lot of scrapping done and have fun doing what I enjoy :) Summer classes begin on Monday so I am trying to get as much scrapping done as I can.

I have been able to get some scrapping done again. I am really enjoying and making the most of my week off before summer semester begin (I'll be taking 4 classes this summer).

My hubby and I went on a litte road trip to a town not that far away called Venice. We discovered this amazing place called Casey Key. It is so peaceful, and beautiful! We had a blast.
I have always loved this picture of Mocha and finally got a chance to scrap it. It was taken a few days after we brought her home. Mocha was very innocent at the breeder's but when she came to live with us we saw another side to her, a very mischievous one!

I am thrilled that the semester is over!
I spent the entire day yesterday shopping and relaxing with a good friend who is also in the COE with me. It was a blast and an amazing way to end the semester.
I have 1 week off before summer classes begin and I am thrilled. I have so many things planned and can't wait to clean, organize, SCRAP, and spend time with my hubby!

Tomorrow is my last day of the Spring Semester and I am super excited! It will officially be over at 3:45! The end of this semester has been really crazy for me. I am looking foward to having a week off to get some much needed relaxation and scrapping done! Then I will be able to start refreshed for the Summer.

I never imagined how busy April would be for me.
I am taking 5 classes, and I just love how the teachers have put all of our MAJOR assignments off until the very end of the semester.
I have been swamped with so much work, it's crazy. Most of the assignments are benchmark assignments that will go into my teaching portfolio. Just 2 more classes and I'll be done. BUT what stinks is that I have 1 week off (looking forward to getting a ton of scrapping done) and then the summer semester begins. I so need a break to go on a vacation and releax because it seems like life at this point has been non stop. On the bright side, it's almost over!

Well I can't believe it's already April. I have 20 days left of classes and am counting them down, but I have a ton of assignments to do.

Yesterday I found out that 2 of my layouts were picked to be published in a small online ezine. I am very excited about that as it's my first time ever! The site is http://makingmemoriesforyou.org/index.php and the link to the ezine is http://magazineofmemories.blogspot.com/.

I did not win a spot on the design team for S4L, but I am thankful to have made it into the top 10 and am so proud of myself since I have never attempted anything like this before.

I have been participating in a design team search/contest at Scrap 4 Life for the past 3 weeks, and today I found out that I made it into the top 10. I am shocked and honored to have made it this far. This is the first time I have ever attempted to try out for a contest or design team and I have truly enjoyed the experience. I will need a miracle this week because the competition is amazing, the ladies are very talented, and I wish us all the best of luck!!!

Well today is my birthday and I am giving away an RAK in memory of my beloved bunny, Mylo who passed away yesterday. It has not been much of a birthday but I am trying to make the most of it.

What a week this has been - not much of a spring break. I have had to get stuff done everyday and have not found much time to relax at all.

My DH has been really busy lately with track season and I miss spending time with him. But I am in good company with Mocha.

I am suppose to get my hair done today, can't wait, it's been too long. Speaking of long, I think I'll cut about 3 inches off today, I need a change (but am so nervous to go any shorter).

I can't believe that my b'day is in 8 days. Where has the time gone. I am not looking forward to this one at all, from now on it's down hill :lol: BUT life is what you make of it :) and I can't wait to spend some time with my hubby on a fun trip to somewhere amazing!

I have great news!!! > Yesterday I took this math exam I was having hard time with for the 3rd time and guess what >>> I passed it!!!!! I'm so excited and I feel like a lot of pressure has been lifted and I can begin to focus on the other required exams and also my 5 classes this semester :)
I honestly did not think I passed it, I knew I tried my best, but at the end when I hit submit I still was not confident that I passed it.
I am still in shock and am so glad that part of my life is OVER!

YEAH I made it through yet another hectic week. I survived my first test in my reading course and tomorrow I'll be taking the math exam again (hope I pass it this time). Math is not my strong point.

My wonderful husband was very thoughtful and took me out to breakfast this morning at Cracker Barrel. That made my entire week so much better!

I managed to create 1 layout last night to take my mind of some of the stresses.

Today has been an awful day. I feel so stressed with the amount of stuff I have to do. There is not enough time to get it all done. Classes were crazy and I have a ton to prepare for.

I will be taking the Professional Test (for education majors) for the first time today. I am kinda nervous about it because everyone says you can't study for a test like that. SO I will give it my best shot!

I can't believe I survived this week.

I was really nervous to meet my "students". I met 2 ESOL students this week and I began working one on one with them. They are so cute and I enjoyed the experience a lot. I'll be working with them for the next 9 weeks :)

I have a ton of things to get done this weekend, lots of studying and papers to write > and hopefully some scrapping in there too.

I feel like I just don't have the time to scrap, school is getting harder. Everything is more demanding and challenging.

I feel sad about scrapping at the moment, but I know I need to focus on school because becoming a teacher is essential in the lives of the students I will impact. I have so many things to do today and I look around at my cute scrap space and wish I could just sit there & create.

WOW, I can't believe it took this long to finally create a BLOG.

This is my first, so what can I say... I have a busy life... School definitely occupies a lot of my time at the moment. I can't wait until I am done. I do try to create 2-4 pages per week, but that doesn't always work out.
